Poetry Outloud

I chose my poem because I thought it'd be something funny. Although now that I know we're doing a contest on it it'll be a lot harder not to laugh while trying to recite it. I don't exactly have a connect to this poem, except at the end, because that seems to happen to my friends and family a lot due to my little sister. She seems to have a thing for hitting guys there... Anyway, the real and only reason I picked this song was because I thought everyone would get a good laugh out of it.

My preporation is really lacking and I have to work at it... I have the poem memorized already, although it's kind of hard to remember. As for trying to say it with feeling, that isn't coming along so well.. To me, my poem means that sometimes you have to hurt someone to help them. I'm not sure it's how the poem is suppose to come out as, but that's my probably terrible interpritation.

The Movie

Okay so I haven't read TKM in over a year so I can't exactly remember what happened everywhere and how I thought scenes looked. Although I somewhat remember what my favorite scene was suppose to look like, and it was portrayed almost perfectly in the movie. The scene were Boo is finally revealed is my favorite, because honestly Boo is my favorite character.
In the movie, I think it was acted out perfectly... Except when Boo is revealed, I think they tried to make him seem too afraid. It also bugged me because Boo never talked! Otherwises, the scenes played out perfectly as I remember it written and I loved the actors. I wish they would make a new updated movie though!
